Wicken Sports Club

The AGM of the Wicken Sports Club was held on the 13th December 2018 at which a number of new people came onto the committee.

Fenlon Dunphy has taken the role as Chair with Will Morphet as Club Secretary. John Folker continues as Treasurer but after 60 years involvement both he and Brenda will be taking things slightly easier. Neil Gordon-Lee has taken on the role of Membership Secretary and Phil Eilbeck as Social Secretary. Barbara Butterfield has also stepped back from regular involvement following an equally long and distinguished contribution to the Club.

One post remains unfilled that of the Club's Safeguarding Officer for which we are still seeking a volunteer.

The new committee has been getting to know the intricacies of running the Sports Club over the past few weeks and key officers have also been involved in running the Wicken Village Community/Wickids event on May 6th, hosted by the Sports Club and including the hugely successful Scarecrow Festival.
